Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on 15th October 1931.
He is the 11th President of India (2002 to 2007).
He is specialized in Aero Engineering.
He is known as the Missile Man of India for his work on development of ballistic missile and space rocket technology.
In 2008 he received the prestigious Hoover Medal for his outstanding public service.
